The Trillium String Quartet was created in 2024 out of a love for playing and teaching chamber music. In performances and classrooms alike, we want to invite audiences into the connection we share when we play together and to introduce our students to the inherent intimacy of playing in string quartet that directly led us to pursue this career. Based in Weston, Vermont during the fall and Cleveland, Ohio during the spring, Trillium embraces a life cycle of constant growth and regrowth – much like the trillium flower itself – as we travel to meet new audiences, actively explore unique, engaging ways to present the old and deconstruct the concert experience to promote accessibility and connection in every concert and teaching experience.
